Based on 40 years of experience in the Japanese government, including his tenure as Ambassador to Australia, Shingo Yamagami takes stock of the current state of the bilateral relationship from trade and investment ties, defence/security cooperation to people-to-people exchanges.
Ambassador Yamagami will go on to candidly discuss what are the roadblocks that need to be overcome and the potential for further cooperation.
