The Xi Jinping Thought has recently been specifically extended to Legal Education in China and will no doubt shape new directions in legal education.

Rev Dr Roderick O'Brien examines the key document on this issue, "Opinions on Strengthening Legal Education and Legal Theoretical Research in the New Era" released by the Chinese government. The presentation will include explanations of being "Red & Expert", "Xi Jinping Thought by Numbers", "Seeking a unique Legal System", "The Three-Must-Not-be-Taughts", and "Bumps on the Foreign Way".

This will be followed by an analysis of how this may affect how China engages in international law.
