Tim Legrand is Associate Professor of International Security at the University of Adelaide, and his previous appointments include the national Security College (ANU); and the Centre of Excellence in Policing & Security (Griffith Uni).

His research is concerned with national and international dimensions of global security decision–making, particularly in transnational networks and institutions. His current projects are concerned with right-wing extremism and the preservation of liberal democracy from digital threats; and global blacklisting and sanctions, and malign policy-making.
